Our History
Northfield Nursery School was founded in 1942 as a cooperative nursery school.
We are incredibly proud of our story. We have a rich history in education and are proud of the education we offer our preschoolers!
Northfield Nursery School was originally organized by parents of Northfield preschool aged children and governed by a parent Board of Directors.
The school was housed in several locations until 1966 when it was moved to its present home in the Northfield United Methodist Church.
The school is still overseen by a parent Board of Directors.
Our families willingly volunteer their time and talents to be involved in their children’s education as well as to help keep costs down.
